I am an excited young entrepreneur and the new Bicycle Mayor of Cape Town.

I am the Founder and Managing Director of Khaltsha Cycles, a one-stop bicycle shop with an aim to inspire and create cycling townships by providing quality affordable bicycles. His mission as the new Bicycle Mayor is to increase ridership through learn2cycle bicycle clinics, and social events, promote cycling mobility and advocate for safe cycling.

What are some of your most memorable achievements?

Apart from running a series of township-based bicycle shops and being a Bicycle Mayor, Sindz recent achievement is establishing a girl-only cycling team with a focus on getting more women and girls on bicycles in partnership with Rocacorba Cycling an initiative led by Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio

What are the ambitions that you are working towards?

One of many ambitions is to go on a bicycle adventure fully self-supported in the Karoo. Plans for the adventure are already underway.

What are some of your top tips?

The best tip I can give is: Never wait for a perfect moment to start something just go on and start!
