Fanie Botha Multi-Day Hiking Trail

The Fanie Botha hiking trail is home to various hikes ranging from two- to five nights. Situated in the scenic area of Sabie in Mpumalanga, this multi-day hiking trail is located on the Drakensberg mountain range and boasts with sights that can easily take your breath away.

Walking along the numerous pine forests and plantations, clear waterfalls await – making it a no-brainer to put this multi-day hike next on your bucket list. Lone Creek and Mac Mac Falls are both national monuments that can be spotted en route.

The trail can be started from three different spots, namely Ceylon, Graskop or President Burgers Huts. This trail’s shortest route is roughly 17km, and the longest is roughly 58km in distance.
